PROJECT INFO

This $2-million, 5-building project at LAUSD Southwest College serves more than 8,000 students and features a new 694-stall parking structure, a new  Cox Annex and Little Theater Building and a re-model of three existing buildings – a 5-story Cox Building, the 2-story Fitness and Wellness Center and the Lecture Lab Building, a 4-story building which houses the Math and Sciences Department.

This two-year project added challenges as our team was responsible for coordinating construction around student activities on an operational campus.  Pan-Pacific built a temporary complex for students to continue classes while the School of Math and Science was vacated. The temporary complex featured fully functional laboratory classrooms.

Pan-Pacific also utilized LEED ideals by installing waterless urinals, low-flow flush valves and faucets.
